Tearline is free to use. There is no account, no trial and no paid tier, nothing on this site is behind a payment, and no part of it asks for a card.

The package is published as @compoundlabs/tearline on npm under the MIT licence. The bare name tearline is unregisterable, npm rejects it as too similar to readline, which is why every npm line on this site is scoped.
